It's the Great Pumpkin!!!

You know how sometimes you try to do things for your kids that you KNOW they're going to love....but they end up being complete misery for you? Well, let me tell you a story about a BIG pumpkin.
You all know of Taylors love of pumpkins. Why, just last year he planted some pumpkin seeds on the side of our house that ended up being a 12-13ft long pumpkin vine, and actually grew about 8 pumpkins! So anyway, my sweet husband came across a man in Kentucky that grows giant pumpkins for the "Wooly Worm Festival" (stop laughing, I'm serious.) and so he got his good son one of these pumpkins. After 2 tries, you see the pumpkins are so big that when you try to load them they bust. By the way, these things weigh in the 200lb. area. So, after busting a couple in the trusty ole' 4Runner, he was on his way. Things were going smooth.....until the great pumpkin fell over. OOps! The 4Runner will never smell the same! Anyway, he got it home, damaged, but enough for T to get the effect. Here he is with "his" great pumpkin!!

He's also putting in a little plug for the Fall Festival at church. Just doin' his part!

And now the story takes a sad twist. Once we got it out of the truck we set it by the garage outside. And it rained. So about 40 gallons of water collected in it and it rotted. These are the photos of the Dad who tried to do something nice for his son by getting him a GIANT pumpkin!

UUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!
@#!*!@#&%!!!!!!!!!

Watching Daddy!

Park playing Soccer in a dress, of course...watching daddy.
Finally got bored watching daddy so went to play in the backyard w/ Leah and Luke!
The moral of this story.......... Alway keep in mind when you're trying to make your children happy....it may have an adverse effect of you!
